Wright Enterprises Earns FSC

Wright Enterprises announced today that they have earned their multi-plant chain-of-custody FSC certification for their Kent, WA and Portland, OR facilities. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international nonprofit organization devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC-certified products use wood from forests that are managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards. “This certification goes hand in hand with our efforts to continually do the right thing as a company when it comes to our customers, employees and in this case, the environment” says Dan Adkison, Pres / COO of Wright Enterprises, the west coast’s largest independent, trade-only printer. “Wright Enterprises is committed to operating all facets of our business in an environmentally responsible way. We endorse and embrace the certifying agencies that audit the print industry.” said Dan. “Working in partnership with these agencies, as well as our supplier partners and end user customers, we can substantively reduce the impact on the ecosystem.”
